In a kitchen, everyone has personal preferences. It could be as simple as a wall color or as involved as a counter top design. One thing that many people finds appealing to use and display are their tea accessories, and a favorite for many is the stainless tea kettle.
When shopping for one of these kitchen accessories, there isn’t such a thing as a good or bad selection. As with many other parts of a kitchen it comes down to function and personal taste. Many people just grab whatever is cheapest at the local home store or Walmart simply because that is what they have always used. But a stainless steel tea kettle model has a lot to offer, too, and usually aren’t that much more expensive.
If someone is looking for aesthetic appeal, these models are great. They brighten up the room and they can blend into any décor without taking away from the effect that you are trying to create.
One thing that is so great about these items is that though most are silver in coloring, you can get so many different shapes and styles. With the addition of a ceramic coating or other type of coating, you also will be able to brighten up your kitchen with one of several different colors. Or feel free to buy several in different colors. In my kitchen I have two different ones for the difference in size as well as looks.
Cleanup is a breeze since stainless cookware will not discolor from use. A simple wipe with a cloth each time you use it and you good to go. Just remember to keep putting in fresh water so you have “live” water for your tea steeping when your kettle gets it hot.
Another important thing to note is that heating up liquid can be accomplished much easier than many other types of kettle. That is because the metal absorbs and transfers heat more evenly and quicker and will hold it longer. And unlike copper models, this one will not make your liquid take on a metallic taste.
Some of these models are quite valuable and collectible, too. There is quite an extensive selection to consider. As with all things related to tea, you can end up spending a small sum of money or a very large one if you go for a designer stainless tea kettle. Whatever type you end up with, any tea sipper is going to love having a good one in addition to their assorted teapots.
